Cofides, a Spain-based state-owned mercantile company, financed the arrival in Cuba of Spain-based Hotelsa, engaged in food and beverage manufacturing and marketing for the hotel sector, announced Cofides in a press release issued on 6 July, 2016. Specifically, Cofides granted a co-investment loan, 25% of which was covered with its own resources, and 75%, by the fund for foreign investment operations of small and medium enterprises (FONPYME). Cofides will grant EUR 1.5m for the establishment of Hotelsa's production in the Mariel special development zone. The total investment in the project, including the developer's contribution, is EUR 2m.

Cofides, sociedad mercantil estatal española, ha financiando el desembarco a Cuba de la española Hotelsa, dedicada a la fabricación y comercialización de productos alimenticios y bebidas para la hostelería, según ha informado Cofides en un comunicado de prensa publicado el 6 de julio de 2016. En concreto, Cofides ha concedido un préstamo de coinversión con cargo a los recursos propios de Cofides, del 25%, y del Fondo para Operaciones de Inversión en el Exterior de la Pequeña y Mediana Empresa (Fonpyme), del 75%. Cofides concederá EUR 1,5m para la implantación productiva de Hotelsa en la zona especial de desarrollo Mariel. La inversión total del proyecto, junto con la aportación del promotor, es de EUR 2m. |
