A Coca-Cola Brasil, fabricante de bebida com sede no Rio de Janeiro, entra no mercado de cafés com a marca Leão, segundo publicou a empresa em comunicado no dia 14 de julho de 2016, citando o vice-presidente de Novos Negócios da Coca-Cola Brasil, Sandor Hagen. Segundo a notícia, o Café Leão tem por objetivo de ampliar o acesso do consumidor à categoria de cafés especiais. A Leão Alimentos, que é dona da marca de chás Leão, é uma sociedade entre a Coca-Cola Company e seus engarrafadores no Brasil. “Ao entrarmos nesse mercado, estimulamos o debate sobre o café tipo exportação.
