China Fishery Group (HKSE:B0Z), a Hong Kong-based fishing company and owner of Copeinca Perú, filed for bankruptcy protection and stopped the sale of its Peru-based assets, announced the company in a press release issued on 1 July, 2016. In a release issued to 19 companies connected with the group, China Fishery Group noted that, after filing for bankruptcy protection in a New York court, the company will not take any further measures in the short term, including the sale of the group's assets. Since January, China Fishery Group had been holding talks with potential buyers of its fish flour operations in Peru (see related intel).

China Fishery Group (HKSE:B0Z), empresa pesquera con sede en Hong Kong y propietaria de Copeinca Perú, se ha acogido a una protección contra la bancarrota y ha detenido la venta de sus activos en Perú, según ha informado la compañía en un comunicado publicado el 1 de julio de 2016. En un comunicado dirigido a 19 empresas vinculadas al grupo, el holding internacional ha indicado que, después que China Fishery Group se acogiera a una protección contra la bancarrota en una corte de Nueva York, la firma no tomará en el corto plazo más pasos inmediatos, entre los que se incluyen la venta de activos del grupo. Desde enero, China Fishery Group ha llevado a cabo negociaciones con posibles compradores de sus operaciones de harina de pescado en el Perú (ver Intels relacionados). |
