China Communications Construction Company and Australia-based bank Macquarie Group are in the process of creating a fund to invest in infrastructure projects in Brazil and Latin America. Initially, the fund will have BRL 500m to invest in the construction of ports, highways and railways. The idea is to finance companies with no access to credit lines from BNDES. In Brazil, Modal bank will be charge of managing the projects.

Inicialmente, o fundo terá BRL 500m para investir em obras ligadas à construção de portos, rodovias e ferrovias. A ideia é financiar empresas que não tenham acesso às linhas de crédito do BNDES. No Brasil, o responsável pela gestão será o banco Modal. |
