Cerberus Capital Management, a US-based private equity firm, could sell Spain-based renewable energy company Renovalia for more than EUR 1.5 bn, reported El Economista on 2 February 2017, citing market sources. According to the report, the sale process is in a very early stage and the company is seeking an adviser to be in charge of the transaction. Since Cerberus took over the company in February 2016 (see related transaction), its strategy has been to acquire assets to have a higher valuation. Meanwhile, the company also boosted photovoltaic energy with acquisitions in this sector.

Cerberus Capital Management, firma de private equity estadounidense, podría vender la empresa de energías renovables española, Renovalia, por más de EUR 1.500m, según ha informado El Economista el 2 de febrero de 2017, citando a fuentes del mercado. Según lo publicado, el proceso de venta está en una fase muy inicial y la firma está buscando un asesor al mando de la operación. Desde que Cerberus se hizo con la compañía en febrero de 2016 (ver transacción relacionada), su estrategia ha consistido en la adquisición de activos de cara a una mayor valoración. Por otro lado, la firma también ha potenciado la energía fotovoltaica con adquisiciones en esta rama. |
