US-based Cerberus Capital Management and Starwood Capital were selected to go through to final bid for the acquisition of a EUR 800m mortgage portfolio held by Spain-based bank Bankia. The offers for the portfolio known as Proyecto Amazonas could reach EUR 400m. With this sale, Bankia aims to find liquidity by divesting its non-strategic assets. Deloitte has been hired to advise in this deal.

Las estadounidenses Cerberus Capital Management y Starwood Capital han sido las entidades seleccionadas para pasar a la puja final por una cartera de EUR 800m en créditos inmobiliarios propiedad de la entidad financiera española Bankia. Las ofertas por la cartera, conocida como Proyecto Amazonas, podrían alcanzar los EUR 400m. Con esta venta, que está siendo asesorada por Deloitte, Bankia pretende conseguir liquidez mediante la desinversión de activos no estratégicos. |
