US-based private equity firms Cerberus Capital Management and Blackstone (NYSE: BX) could be interested in acquiring a stake in Spanish multinational Abengoa (BME: ABG.P), as published by newspaper Expansión on 17 September 2015. Abengoa launched a capital increase (see related transaction), which could take a radical turn if these funds subscribe. According to financial sources consulted by Expansion, Abengoa was planning a capital increase that could be subscribed by investment funds, acquiring a significant amount of shares, but not a majority stake.

Las firmas estadounidense de private equity Cerberus Capital Management y Blackstone (NYSE: BX) podrían estar interesadas en entrar en el accionariado de la multinacional española Abengoa (BME: ABG.P), según ha señalado el diario Expansión el 17 de septiembre de 2015. Abengoa tiene en marcha una ampliación de capital (ver transacción relacionada), que podría dar un giro radical si participasen estos fondos, ya que según fuentes financieras consultadas por Expansión Abengoa tenía previsto realizar una ampliación de capital en la que podría dar entrada a algún fondo de inversión con participación significativa, pero no de control. |
