Central America and South Korea hold second round of negotiations for FTA

Representatives of Central American countries and South Korea carry out the second round of negotiations to reach a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the region and the Asian country, reported Andina on 23 November, 2015, citing El Salvador's deputy minister of economy, Luz Rodríguez. In the second round of negotations, the countries will discuss matters of trade of services and investments, competition and intellectual property, and sustainable trade and development, Rodríguez noted. They will also begin discussing the list of products which will receive tax benefits under the FTA. The round began on 23 November and will last until 27 November.

Representantes de países centroamericanos y de Corea del Sur llevan cabo la segunda ronda de negociaciones para suscribir un Tratado de Libre Comercio (TLC) entre la región y el país asiático, ha publicado Andina el 23 de noviembre de 2015, citando a la viceministra salvadoreña de economía, Luz Rodríguez. Rodríguez ha declarado que en la segunda ronda de negociaciones los países discutirán temas de comercio de servicios e inversiones, competencia y propiedad intelectual, y comercio y desarrollo sustentable. También se comenzará a tratar la lista de productos que tendrán beneficios arancelarios con el TLC. La ronda ha comenzado el 23 de noviembre y durará hasta el 27 de noviembre. |
