Australian mining company Centaurus Metals is considering selling assets in Brazil or looking for partners that would acquire a stake in their projects to finance their expansion, as was published by newspaper Diário de Comércio on 23 April 2015. At the moment, Centaurus' largest and main project is Jambreiro, in Sao Paolo Evangelista (Vale do Rio Doce), which should begin operations this year, but was delayed due to lack of resources. Jambreiro's budget was USD 47m, and has already received proposals from potential investors.

A mineradora australiana Centaurus Metals com o objetivo de financiar seus empreendimentos está avaliando a possibilidade de alienar seus ativos no Brasil ou a procura de parceiros que adquiram participação nos seus projetos, segundo foi publicado no jornal Diário de Comércio no dia 23 de abril de 2015. O maior e principal empreendimento da Centaurus atualmente é o Jambreiro, em São Paolo Evangelista (Vale do Rio Doce), que já deveria ter entrado em funcionamento este ano, mas que foi adiado pela falta de recursos.
