Cafesalud EPS, a Bogota, Colombia-based health services provider, refuted the existence of advanced negotiations or the separate sale of the company, reported El Tiempo on 17 January 2017, citing Cafesalud EPS President Luis Guillermo Vélez. Specifically, Vélez noted it already defined the regulations of the sale and added that, within two weeks, the data room is opening with the information for potential buyers to evaluate the situation and make their offers. The company also clarified the potential buyer is not yet defined, but added it will have to assume all debts Cafesalud EPS, which will be sold in full (see related Intel).

Cafesalud EPS, prestadora de servicios de salud con sede en Bogotá, Colombia, ha desmentido la existencia de negociaciones avanzadas o la venta por separado de la compañía, según ha informado El Tiempo el 17 de enero de 2017, citando al presidente de Cafesalud EPS, Luis Guillermo Vélez. En concreto, Vélez ha manifestado que ya se ha definido reglamento de venta y en las dos semanas siguientes se abrirá el cuarto de datos con toda la información para que los potenciales compradores valoren la situación y hagan sus ofertas. La compañía también ha aclarado que aún no está definido el potencial comprador, que este tendrá que asumir todas las deudas de Cafesalud EPS y se venderá por completo (ver Intel relacionado). |
