Cabify, a Spain-based operator and developer of a mobile app to book luxury vehicles with a professional driver, is planning its imminent launch of operations in Costa Rica, reported La Nación on 10 May, 2016, citing manager of public relations and strategic alliances of the company, Vianey Campos. Campos noted the entry into Costa Rica has not been defined yet, but added it would launch operations in the country "very soon". Meanwhile, deputy minister of transport, Sebastián Urbina, noted the Spain-based company has not contacted him nor requested a meeting with the local government.

Cabify, empresa española dedicada a la gestión de una aplicación móvil para contratar vehículos de alta gama con un conductor profesional, está planenado el inminente lanzamiento de operaciones en Costa Rica, ha publicado La Nación el 10 de mayo de 2016, citando al gerente de Relaciones Públicas y Alianzas Estratégicas, Vianey Campos. Campos ha señalado que aún no está definida la entrada a Costa Rica, pero ha expresado que "muy pronto" comenzaría la operación en el país. Por su parte, el viceministro de Transportes, Sebastián Urbina, ha señalado que la empresa española no se ha contactado con él ni ha solicitado una reunión con el gobierno local. |
