CVS spend USD 12bn in the last 30 days to acquire Omnicare, a pharmaceutical supplier, and Target network with 160 pharmacies, both located in the United States.

A CVS Pharmacy dedicada à gestão de redes de farmácias, após o insucesso nas tentativas anteriores de adquirir a rede brasileira de farmácias Drogarias Pacheco e São Paulo, continua com intenções de realizar a compra mais adiante devido ao valor estratégico que supõe a obtenção do negócio, segundo divulgaram fontes próprias do Valor Econômico, que divulgou a notícia no dia 22 de junho de 2015. A CVS gastou USD 12 bilhões nos últimos 30 dias comprando a Omnicare, fornecedora serviços farmacêuticos, e rede Target, com 1600 farmácias, ambas com sede nos Estados Unidos. |
