Os ativos se tratam dos edifícios deixados vazios pela redução do número de balcões dos correios, resultados de um plano de otimização que ocorreu recentemente na empresa.

A CTT possui, entre edifícios e outras habitações, mais de EUR 330m, do quais cerca de EUR 4,8m referem-se a imóveis, em co-propriedade com a PTComunicações. A companhia não revela quanto espera arrecadar com as vendas e nem quantos imóveis serão alienados.
