Ecuador-based state-owned Corporación Nacional de Telecomunicaciones allocated contracts worth USD 15.9m to increase telephone and internet services, reported El Comercio on 25 September, 2015. The contracts will allow the set up of fibre optic networks, the expansion of telephone and internet services, and the construction of an external fibre optic plant. The newly allocated infrastructure will benefit 34,000 homes in Pichincha, Napo, Orellana, Santa Elena, Manabí, El Oro, Loja, Chimborazo, and other provinces.

La estatal Corporación Nacional de Telecomunicaciones ha adjudicado contratos por USD 15,9m para la ampliación de servicios de telefonía e Internet, según ha publicado el diario El Comercio el 25 de septiembre de 2015. Los contratos servirán para el despliegue de redes como la fibra óptica, la ampliación de los servicios de telefonía e Internet y la construcción de planta externa de fibra óptica. Esta nueva infraestructura adjudicada a través del sorteo beneficiará a unos 34.000 hogares en Pichincha, Napo, Orellana, Santa Elena, Manabí, El Oro, Loja, Chimborazo y otras provincias del país. |
