The national hydrocarbon commission (CNH) of Mexico announced the Ronda 2 of hydrocarbon tenders will be launched on 22 March 2017, reported Reuters Latin America on 19 July 2016. Specifically, Ronda 2 will include 15 blocks for oil exploration and extraction in shallow waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The blocks, which cover a joint surface of 8,908 km2, are located in front of the coast of Veracruz, Tabasco, and Campeche. Some of the blocks may contain light crude oil and others, heavy crude. For this round, one company may participate individually or in a consortium in up to four contracts, but not in the same area.

La Comisión Nacional de Hidrocarburos (CNH) de México ha anunciado que la Ronda 2 de licitaciones de hidrocarburos será lanzada el 22 de marzo de 2017, ha publicado Reuters América Latina el 19 de julio de 2016. En concreto, la Ronda 2 incluirá 15 bloques para la exploración y extracción de petróleo en aguas someras del Golfo de México. Los bloques, que cubren una superficie conjunta de 8.908 km2, están ubicados frente a las costas de Veracruz, Tabasco y Campeche. Algunos pueden contener crudo ligero y otros, pesado. Para esta ronda, una misma empresa podrá participar individualmente o en consorcio hasta en cuatro contratos, pero no en la misma área. |
