Mexico's federal electricity commission (CFE) plans to launch a tender of 26 gas pipelines to drive power generation at a lower cost, reported CNN Expansión on 5 November, 2015, citing CFE general director, Enrique Ochoa. Ochoa noted the CFE expects the pipelines will be ready for 2018. Thus, every Mexican state will have access to natural gas by the end of that year, driving industrial development and power generation at a low cost.

La Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE) de México planea lanzar una licitación de 26 gasoductos para impulsar la generación de electricidad a un costo más bajo, ha publicado CNN Expansión el 5 de noviembre de 2015, citando al director general de la CFE, Enrique Ochoa. Ochoa ha señalado que la CFE espera que los gasoductos estén listos para 2018. De esa manera, todos los estados de México tendrán acceso a gas natural hacia fines de ese año, lo que impulsará el desarrollo industrial y la generación eléctrica a bajo costo. |
