Brazil's Federal Government and the Government of Mozambique signed an agreement to live cattle exports, reported Brazil's Ministry of Agriculture in its website, on October 17, 2016. According to it, Mozambique's Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security accepted the health certificate proposed by Brazil, and the Mozambican market should start buying the first batch of Brazilian cattle in 2016. The African country has the potential to import up to 50,000 animals per year for this purpose.

O Governo Federal brasileiro e o Governo de Moçambique concluiram um acordo sobre a exportação de bovinos vivos, segundo publicou o Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento do Brasil em 17 de outubro de 2016. De acordo com a publicação, o Ministério da Agricultura e Segurança Alimentar de Moçambique aceitou o certificado sanitário proposto pelo Brasil, e agora o mercado moçambicano deve começar a comprar os primeiros lotes de gado brasileiro ainda em 2016. De acordo com estimativas do setor produtivo, o país africano tem potencial para importar até 50 mil animais por ano para essa finalidade. |
