Borja Prado, who currently presides Endesa, could resign form his post with Chilean holding company Enersis, to focus on the Iberian market, since the Latin American business reporting line is no longer Endesa España, as announced by newspaper Diario Financiero de Chile on 27 April 2015. This resignation would materialize on 28 April 2015, after Ordinary Shareholders Meeting. Borja Prado was appointed as president of Fundación Endesa, replacing Rafael Miranda. Enel, an Italy-based company controlled by Enersis, would be looking for a director tied to Enersis. Borja Prado had a fundamental role in Enersis' USD 6bn capital increase, which was carried out in March 2013. (see related transaction)

El ejecutivo que actualmente preside Endesa España, Borja Prado, podría dejar su cargo en el holding chileno Enersis para centrarse en el mercado ibérico, ya que el negocio latinoamericano dejó de depender de Endesa España, según ha anunciado el Diario Financiero de Chile el día 27 de abril de 2015. La renuncia se concretaría en el directorio de Enersis el día 28 de abril tras la Junta Ordinaria de Accionistas de la firma. Borja Prado recientemente asumió la presidencia de la Fundación Endesa, en reemplazo de Rafael Miranda. Enel, empresa italiana que controla Enersis, estaría apostando por un directivo afín a la reorganización de Enersis. El ex ejecutivo Borja Prado tuvo un papel fundamental en el aumento de capital por USD 6.000m que realizó Enersis y que finalizó en marzo de 2013 (ver transacción relacionada). |
