Bombardier Transportation, a Berlin-based railway engineering company and subsidiary of Montreal, Canada-based Bombardier (TSX:BBD.B), is interested in the project of the metro of Bogota, Colombia, reported El Tiempo on 1 October, 2015, citing president, Lutz Bertling. During a visit to Colombia, Bertling noted the company's interest in participating in the tender of the metro of Bogota, projected for 2016. The executive visited the national department of planning and the financial superintendence. Bertling added that, depending on the size and importance of the project, the company could open a plant in Colombia or seek a local partner to build under the Bombardier license.

Bombardier Transportation, empresa de ingeniería ferroviaria con sede en Berlín y filial de la canadiense Bombardier (TSX:BBD.B), ha mostrado interés en el proyecto del metro de Bogotá, Colombia, ha publicado El Tiempo el 1 de octubre de 2015, citando al presidente de la empresa, Lutz Bertling. Durante una visita a Colombia, Bertling ha declarado el interés de la empresa en participar de la licitación del metro de Bogotá, proyectado para 2016. El ejecutivo ha visitado el Departamento Nacional de Planeación y la Superintendencia Financiera.
