British private equity firm Black Toro could invest EUR 10m in Spain-based Irestal Group, a stainless steel manufacturer. In addition, the fund may have reached an agreement with banks to acquire Irestal long-term debt, which is valued at EUR 30m, with a 70% discount. This means that Black Toro will become Irestal's second largest shareholder with 50% of the capital and its first creditor.

La firma británica de private equity Black Toro Capital podría realizar una inversión de alrededor de EUR 10m en la sociedad española Irestal Group, dedicada a la fabricación de productos de acero inoxidable. Además, el fondo podría haber llegado a un acuerdo con los bancos para comprarles la deuda a largo plazo de Irestal, que ronda los 30 millones de euros, con un descuento de alrededor del 70%. Es decir que Black Toro se convertirá en el segundo accionista -con cerca del 50% del capital- y el primer acreedor de Irestal. |
