Bio Ritmo gym chain, which holds the brand Smart Fit, is a strong candidate to launch an IPO in 2017, reported Estadão on 4 November, 2016. According to the news, Bio Ritmo is being probed for IPO and the expectation has increased, after the company has surpassed BRL 1bi in revenues. Bio Ritmo received a capital injection of the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) and Brazil-based private equity firm Pátria Investimentos (see related intel).
