Banco do Brasil e Correios podem transformar Banco Postal em Joint Venture

O Banco do Brasil (BVMF:BBAS3), como sede em Brasília, e os Correios, tem sede também em Brasília, estão em discussões para transformar o Banco Postal, uma aliança entre as duas instituições, e em uma instituição financeira de fato com a oferta de mais produtos, mas sem data para serem concluídas, publicou a Veja em 14 de maio de 2015, citando ao Vice-Presidente de Gestão Financeira e de Relações com Investidores, José Maurício Pereira Coelho. Segundo José Maurício Pereira Coelho, "Estamos discutindo o escopo da parceria. Não vamos falar um prazo para conclusão para não criar expectativas". o executivo também acrescentou que "O Postal continua trabalhando de maneira paralela às discussões a nova instituição financeira", sem dar mais detalhes sobre o plano de negócios da nova instituição. O banco Postal foi criado pelos Correios em parceria com o Bradesco. Contudo, em 2011, não houve renovação e um novo contrato foi fechado com o Banco do Brasil. |
