Banco do Brasil (BVMF:BBAS3) and Banco Bradesco (BVMF:BBDC3,BBDC4;NYSE:BBD,BBDO) could be negotiating the acquisition of a 49% stake in US-based Elavon, held by US-based Citigroup (NYSE:C), as published by Exame on 9 January 2016. According to the news, these talks are advanced and one of the options is the acquisition of 100% stake in Elavon in Brazil, by the Brazilian banks.
