Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) president, Luis Alberto Moreno, announced the opening of its new office in Haiti, five years after the earthquake, as published by newspaper Jamaica Observer on 25 June 2015.

Building this new office derives from the urgent demand of basic elements, such as food supply, refuge and water for the survivors of the earthquake. Luis Alberto Moreno also announced that non-refundable subsidies will be of USD 200m in 2020.

El presidente del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID), Luis Alberto Moreno, ha señalado que la compañía ha abierto una nueva oficina en Haití, cinco años después del terremoto, según ha publicado el diario Jamaica Observer el 25 de junio de 2015.

La construcción de esta nueva sede se debe a la urgente demanda de elementos básicos, como el suministro de alimentos, refugio y agua para los afectados por el terremoto. Luis Alberto Moreno también anunció que las subvenciones no reembolsables serán de USD 200m al año hasta el año 2020.
