Bacardi, based in Bermuda, announced the closure of its bottling factory in Catalonia, as published by newspaper El Economista on 11 February 2016. Bacardi confirmed that Spain will continue as one of their main markets, and that this closure does not affect its commercial and marketing teams, nor the distribution center located in Mollet (Barcelona).
