BTG Pactual Chile's minority shareholders could be interested in acquiring the company, as reported by newspaper América Economía on 9 December 2015. Initially, Brazil-based BTG Pactual Global has not mentioned a possible sale in Chile. However, some of its Chilean partners are visiting São Paulo to negotiate a possible deal with Brazilian company. Until February 2012, the financial advisory and brokerage firm was named Celfin Capital. And from this date, the company changes its name to BTG Pactual Chile, after being acquired by Brazil-based BTG Pactual.

Los socios de BTG Pactual Chile estarían interesados en comprar la totalidad de la filial en el país, según ha informado América Economía el 9 de diciembre de 2015. En principio, Banco BTG Pactual (BVMF: BPAC3), con sede en Brasil, no ha manifestado estar interesado en deshacerse de su filial chilena. Sin embargo, algunos de los socios chilenos han llegado a Sao Paulo en los últimos días para conversar sobre esa posibilidad con la compañía brasileña. Hasta febrero de 2012, la empresa de asesoramiento financiero y correduría de bolsa se llama Celfin Capital. Pero a partir de esta fecha la firma cambia su nombre a BTG Pactual Chile, tras ser adquirida por el banco brasileño BTG Pactual. |
