BM&FBovespa and Cetip, two Brazilian financial entities, could be moving on with merger negotiations, as published by Estadão on 6 April 2016. According to the news, the companies' board are meeting to discuss their merger, which could result in a new company vworth BRL 40m. To materialize this deal, after board approval, the merger has to be approved by the shareholders' assembly. In November 2015, Cetip refused an offer submitted by BM&F Bovespa. A BM&FBovespa e a Cetip, brasileiras que atuam no setor financeiro, estariam avançando com sua fusão, segundo publicou o Estadão no dia 6 de Abril de 2016. Segundo a notícia, o Conselho das duas empresas se reúnem para discutir fusão de seus negócios que pode criar uma companhia com valor de mercado de BRL 40m. Para a transação se concretizar, depois do aval dos conselhos, a combinação das atividades da empresa deverá ser aprovada em assembléia de acionistas. Em novembro de 2015 Cetip recusou uma oferta apresentada pela BM&F Bovespa (ver transação relacionada). |
