The Central Bank of Argentina (BCRA) announced the removal from their positions of the president and vice-president of financial entity HSBC Argentina, in a press release issued on 1 September, 2015.

The BCRA removed Gabriel Martino as president of the board and Miguel Estévez as vice-president of the board of the entity.

The central bank claimed Martino acted as facilitator of evasion activities carried out by HSBC Argentina, as well as being prosecuted by the federal revenue administration (AFIP).

El Banco Central de la República Argentina (BCRA) ha anunciado la remoción del presidente y vicepresidente de la entidad financiera HSBC Argentina de sus cargos, en un comunicado de prensa publicado el 1 de septiembre de 2015.

El BCRA ha removido a Gabriel Martino como presidente del directorio y a Miguel Estévez como vicepresidente del directorio de la entidad.

El banco central ha aducido que Martino actuó como facilitador de actividades de evasión llevadas a cabo por HSBC Argentina, además de tener una causa penal abierta con la Administración Federal de Ingresos Públicos (AFIP).
