Ángel Cano, CEO of Spanish bank BBVA, announced the bank will reduce its stake in China Citic Bank International, which is approximately 9.9% after selling 5.10% of the capital at the end of 2013.

Nevertheless, BBVA's divestment plan in China does not include total exit from the country. Dates and stake percentages are still unknown.

El consejero delegado de la entidad financiera española BBVA, Ángel Cano, ha anunciado que la compañía reducirá su participación en China Citic Bank International, que se sitúa en un 9,9% tras haber vendido un 5,10% de su accionariado a finales de 2013.

Sin embargo, el plan de desinversión de BBVA en China, del que no han trascendido fechas, porcentajes ni importes, no contempla la salida completa del país asiático.
