O Governo Regional dos Açores firma parceria com a norte-americana Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) para promoção digital do destino, segundo publicou o Correio da Manhã no dia 23 de Maio de 2016, citando o Secretário do Turismo dos Açores, Vítor Fraga.

Segundo a noticia, o Secretário do Turismo dos Açores estimou que 200 milhões de potenciais turistas possam vir a ter contacto com a região nos próximos anos na sequência da parceria assinada.

A parceria contempla ainda um reforço na aposta da modernização das infraestruturas de tecnologia de informação na administração pública regional.
