Avianca, a Colombia-based airline, and its parent company, Avianca Holding (BVC:AVT; NYSE:AVH) announced the appointment of Álvaro Jaramillo Buitrago as interim president in a press release issued on 20 January, 2016. The executive will be in charge until the appointment of the executive president is finalized. Jaramillo will replace Fabio Villegas Ramírez, who was executive president until 17 January, 2016.

Avianca, aerolínea colombiana, y su matriz, Avianca Holding (BVC:AVT; NYSE:AVH) han designado como presidente interino de la compañía a Álvaro Jaramillo Buitrago, según ha informado la compañía en un comunicado de prensa el 20 de enero de 2016. El ejecutivo ejercerá el cargo en tanto se formaliza el nombramiento del presidente ejecutivo en propiedad, cuyo proceso se encuentra en su etapa final. Jaramillo reemplaza a Fabio Villegas Ramírez, que se ha desempeñado como presidente ejecutivo de la firma hasta el 17 de enero de 2016. |
