Pingo Doce, through Jorge Jordão, will be the president of Associação Portuguesa de Empresas de Distribuição (APED) for the next four years, replacing Sonae Modelo Continente, which was in the lead for five years. The new team led by Jorge Jordão also has twonew vice-presidents representing Auchan and Sonae Modelo Continente. This new management will also have representatives of two new APED's associates, Intermarché and Media Markt. The board also includes as members, Cláudia Almeida e Silva (FNAC), George Madeira (DIA), Pedro Cano (IKEA) and Catarino Tavares (ECI).

O Pingo Doce, através de Jorge Jordão, vai assumir pelos próximos quatro anos a presidência da Associação Portuguesa de Empresas de Distribuição (APED), sucedendo à Sonae Modelo Continente que detinha a liderança há cinco anos. A nova equipa liderada por Jorge Jordão conta ainda com dois vice-presidentes em representação da Auchan e da Sonae Modelo Continente. Nesta nova direcção há ainda que contar com representantes de dois novos associados da APED, o Intermarché e Media Markt.
