Asoex signs cooperation agreement with China to export Chilean fruit

Asociación de Exportadores de Frutas de Chile (Asoex) signed a cooperation agreement with Chinese authorities of Dalian Port to strengthen the export of fruit from Chile, as published by newspaper Diario Financiero on 17 June 2016. This agreement was signed at a meeting between Chilean exporters and Government representatives from Dalian city, and Chile-based importer Dalian Yidu. Ronald Bown, Asoex's president, said he estimates that with this agreement the Dalian Port will become the second or the first most important port in terms of exports of fruit from Chile, instead of the fifth.

La Asociación de Exportadores de Frutas de Chile (Asoex) ha firmado un acuerdo de cooperación con las autoridades chinas del Puerto de Dalian para potenciar las exportaciones de fruta chilena, según ha señalado Diario Financiero el 17 de junio de 2016. La firma se ha producido en un encuentro entre los exportadores chilenos y representantes del gobierno de la ciudad de Dalian, así como la importadora china Dalian Yidu. Ronald Bown, presidente de Asoex, ha señalado que con el acuerdo espera que el Puerto de Dalian pase de ser el quinto puerto más importante en términos de exportaciones para la fruta chilena a ser el segundo o incluso el primero. |
