El ministro de Planificación Federal de Argentina, Julio De Vido, ha confirmado la realización de acuerdos con China, con el fin de potenciar la matriz energética en el país latinoamericano. Los acuerdos abarcan la energía hidráulica y la energía nuclear.

Se han firmado en total 15 acuerdos, algunos vinculados al sector de infraestructura energética, con inversiones de USD 4.714m para la construcción de dos represas en el sur de Argentina.
