Different market sources provoked rumors that escalated value Invermar's shares, a Chile-based salmon producer, may have been caused by a possible sale agreement with AquaChile. However, both companies denied having resumed negotiations, which indicated that AquaChile would acquired a control stake in Invermar. This took place the day before extraordinary shareholders' meeting scheduled for 16 January 2015. In October 2014, AquaChile announced its intention to acquire a stake in Invermar, but later, in December of that year, AquaChile withdrew its offer after negotiation period expired.

Diferentes fuentes del mercado provocaron con rumores que las acciones de la salmonera chilena Invermar se dispararan por posible acuerdo de venta con AquaChile. Sin embargo, ambas compañías han desmentido a través de comunicados una vuelta a las negociaciones, donde AquaChile compraría un porcentaje de control de Invermar. Esto ha sucedido a las vísperas de la junta extraordinaria de accionistas que se tendrá lugar el 16 de enero de 2015. AquaChile anunció en octubre de 2014 su intención de comprar un porcentaje de Invermar, pero a finales de diciembre de ese mismo año, AquaChile desistió de su ofrecimiento tras vencer el plazo establecido para el proceso de negociación. |
