American Airlines announced it will exit the Paraguayan market. The company only had one connection route, Asunción-Miami, which was the only nonstop route linking Paraguay and the United States. Closing this air link is due to the airline's internal reorganization of equipment and flights, and the declining number of passengers on that route.

La aerolínea estadounidense American Airlines ha anunciado que dejará de operar en el mercado paraguayo, geografía en la que solo contaba con una ruta de conexión, Asunción-Miami, la cual era la única ruta sin escalas que unía al país latinoamericano con Estados Unidos. La causa del cierre de la conexión aérea se debe a la reorganización interna de equipos y vuelos que está llevando a cabo la aerolínea, además del descenso de las tasas de pasajeros en esa ruta. |
