Spanish venture capital firm Altamar Capital announced the creation of a fund named Altamar Infrastructure Income, which will be founded in the next few weeks and will focus on global ​​infrastructure. The firm also announced the addition of Ignacio Antoñanzas to the team, as disclosed by the company in a press release published 11 May 2015.

The new fund will focus on infrastructure assets and other real assets that generate recurring cash-flow and high visibility, and offer protection against inflation, which means profitable assets but with little risk.

In addition, Altamar has recently launched two other areas: Galdana Ventures, which deals with management of venture capital funds specialized technology; and Altamar Advisory Partners, which specializes in independent financial advisory and merchant banking for mergers and acquisitions, placements and IPOs, as well as debt financing/restructuring).

La empresa española de capital riesgo Altamar Capital ha anunciado que lanzará en las próximas semanas un fondo llamado Altamar Infrastructure Income, centrándose en el área de infraestructuras del mundo. Además se ha anunciado la incorporación en el equipo de Ignacio Antoñanzas, según ha informado la compañía en una nota de prensa el día 11 de mayo de 2015.

El nuevo fondo se centrará en activos de infraestructuras y otros activos reales que generen un cash-flow recurrente y de alta visibilidad, y que ofrezcan protección frente a la inflación, es decir, activos rentables pero con poco riesgo.

Además, Altamar ha puesto en marcha recientemente otras dos áreas, Galdana Ventures, que se ocupa de la gestión de fondos de venture capital especializados en el sector tecnológico y Altamar Advisory Partners, especializada en el asesoramiento financiero independiente y merchant banking en operaciones de fusiones y adquisiciones, salidas y colocaciones en bolsa así como en la financiación/reestructuración de deuda).
