Opway's management team, headed by company's former president Almerindo Marques, submitted a Management Buy Out offer to acquire the company. The offer value was of EUR 1.30m. This was possible because Mozambique-based Nadhari failed to submit the required documents to prove its solvency in order to acquire Opway. Nadhari had a signed agreement to acquire Opway. (see related transaction) After canceling the deal with Nadhari, Prebuild was revisited, since the company had submitted the second highest offer. Finally, Prebuild revoked its interest in the acquisition.

A equipa diretiva da Opway por meio de uma operação de MBO ( Management Buy Out) liderada pelo ex-presidente da companhia Almerindo Marques apresentou uma oferta para a aquisição da empresa per um preço de aproximadamente EUR 1,3m. As circunstâncias são consequência da falha da empresa moçambicana Nadhari, à qual já havia sido assinada a venda da Opway, à não apresentar dentro do prazo correspondente os documentos requeridos para acreditar a solvência da companhia para poder fazer face à compra. (Ver transação relacionada). Após a operação com os moçambicanos fora cancelada, foi procurada a outra empresa interessada na compra, a Prebuild que apresentou na corrida pela Opway a segunda melhor oferta, mas esta renunciou ao negócio por não estar mais interessada. |
