Air Europa, a Spain-based airline owned by Globalia, is seeking to bolster its transoceanic flight network and their future destinations could include Panama City, Mexico City, and Santiago, Chile, reported Expansión on 19 January 2017, citing Globalia Founder and President Juan José Hidalgo. The aim of the company is to fly to all Latin American capitals, grow in the United States, and reinforce its European network. After entering Honduras (see related intel), Air Europa will also open a route to Boston between mid-June and September.
