Air Costa Rica, a San Jose-based airline, confirmed it will begin operating flights to Guatemala in November 2016, reported La Nación on 7 September 2016. The company, which begun the process to obtain the necessary permits to operate commercial routes in March 2016 (see related intel), is currently finalizing details with the Guatemalan authorities to launch operations. The rates, frequencies, and details of the operation were not disclosed. Air Costa Rica also confirmed that, starting October 2016, it will launch charter flights to San Andrés and Cartagena (Colombia), Roatan (Honduras), and Punta Cana (Dominican Republic).

Air Costa Rica, aerolínea con sede en San José, ha confirmado que comenzará a operar con vuelos a Guatemala en noviembre de 2016, según ha informado La Nación el 7 de septiembre de 2016. La firma, que en marzo de 2016 ha iniciado los trámites para obtener los permisos necesarios para explotar ruta comerciales (ver Intel relacionado), actualmente ultima detalles con las autoridades guatemaltecas para el inicio de operaciones. Las tarifas, frecuencias y detalles de la operación aún no se han dado a conocer.
