Mexico-based Banco Banorte signed a partnership agreement with Canada-based investor CDPQ, through its Mexican subsidiary Afore XXI Banorte, engaged in management of pension funds, to invest in infrastructure projects in the country, as published by newspaper El Financiero on 26 August 2015. Banco Banorte's Board president, Carlos Hank Gonzalez, stated that soon the partnership between the two companies will be announced. In March 2015, Banorte announced it would invest, through Afore XXI Banorte, some USD 3bn in infrastructure. (See related Intel)

El Banco Banorte, entidad financiera mexicana, ha sellado una alianza con la compañía inversionista canadiense CDPQ a través de su filial Afore XXI Banorte, empresa mexicana dedicada a la gestión de fondos de pensiones, para invertir en proyectos de infraestructura en el país, según ha publicado el diario El Financiero el 26 de agosto de 2015. El presidente del consejo de administración del banco Banorte, Carlos Hank González, ha indicado que próximamente harán pública la asociación entre las dos compañías.
