Spain-based Acciona (BME:ANA) and Mexico's federal electricity commission (CFE) signed an agreement to promote renewable energy generation projects in the country, reported Europa Press on 16 October, 2015. Under the alliance, Acciona and the CFE will analyze and evaluate renewable energy generation projects, particularly wind energy, photovoltaic, and hydroelectrical projects. For Acciona, the agreement entails a strengthening of its presence in Mexico, where it already operates four wind farms with a total capacity of 556 MW.

La empresa española Acciona (BME: ANA) y la Comisión Federal de Electricidad de México (CFE) han firmado un acuerdo para promover proyectos de generación de energías renovables en el país latinoamericano, según ha señalado Europa Press en una información del 16 de octubre de 2015. En virtud de esta alianza, Acciona y la CFE analizarán y evaluarán proyectos de generación renovable, fundamentalmente eólicos, fotovoltaicos o hidroeléctricos. Para Acciona, el acuerdo supone potenciar su presencia en México, donde ya cuenta con cuatro parques eólicos que suman 556 MW de potencia. |
