Spain-based Abertis (BME: ABE) could submit an offer to acquire a 55% stake in US-based Chicago Skyway held by Cintra, a subsidiary of Ferrovial (BME: FER), as published by newspaper Expansión on 5 September 2015. With this acquisition, Abertis could control a strong asset in the United States. Ferrovial put Chicago Skyway stake up for sale several months ago. La empresa española Abertis (BME: ABE) podría presentar una oferta por el 55% de la empresa estadounidense Chicago Skyway que está en manos de Cintra, filial de Ferrovial (BME: FER), según ha comunicado el diario Expansión el 5 de septiembre de 2015. La adquisición permitiría a Abertis contar con un activo fuerte en el país estadounidense, y Ferrovial puso en venta la participación en Chicago Skyway hace varios meses (ver Intels relacionados).
