Abengoa destituye al presidente de la compañía por las presiones de la banca

Synopsis

Abengoa (NASDAQ: ABGB) Board of Directors decided to dismiss its president, José Domínguez Abascal, as reported by the company through a relevant fact submitted to Securities Commission CNMV on 1 March 2016.

With this dismissal, Abengoa aims to facilitate the restructure agreement with financial its creditors, and enhance its independence from its largest, Inversión Corporativa IC.

From now on, Antonio Fornieles, the current vice president, will become the president.

El Consejo de Administración de Abengoa (NASDAQ: ABGB) ha decidido destituir a José Domínguez Abascal como presidente de la compañía, según ha informado Abengoa en un comunicado remitido a la Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV) el 1 de marzo de 2016.

Con esta destitución Abengoa pretende facilitar el acuerdo de reestructuración con los acreedores financieros de la sociedad, y contribuir a potenciar la independencia de la misma del que, a día de hoy, es su principal accionista, Inversión Corporativa IC.

A partir de ahora, el actual vicepresidente, Antonio Fornieles, será quien ocupe el puesto de presidente.
