AT&T (NYSE:T), a telecommunications operator based in Dallas, Texas, is preparing its arrival in Costa Rica, reported La Nación on 12 August 2016, citing Costa Rica's Superintendency of Telecommunications (Sutel) Specifically, Sutel's board authorized AT&T to launch operations in the country, after it filed a request in June 2016 (see related Intel). AT&T plans to offer data transmission services through the leasing of lines.

La compañía de telecomunicaciones AT&T (NYSE:T), con sede en Dallas, Texas, prepara su desembarco en Costa Rica, según ha informado La Nación el 12 de agosto de 2016, citando a la Superintendencia de Telecomunicaciones (Sutel) de Costa Rica. En concreto, el Consejo de la Sutel ha autorizado a AT&T a iniciar sus operaciones en el país, luego de su solicitud en junio de 2016 (ver Intel relacionado). La compañía estadounidense tiene la intención de prestar un servicio de transmisión de datos mediante el arrendamiento de líneas. |
