The national infrastructure agency (ANI) of Colombia plans to tender the construction of the southern section of avenue Avenida Longitudinal de Occidente (ALO) at the end of October 2016, through a Public-Private Partnership model, reported El Tiempo on 18 April, 2016, citing ANI president, Luis Fernando Andrade. Specifically, the tender includes the construction of a 19.5-kilometer dual carriageway, from the Canoas area (Soacha) until 13 St., in Bogota. The project has a total cost of approximately USD 340m. Andrade noted he hopes this new section of the ALO allows relieving the entry and exit of Bogota through the South-West.

La Agencia Nacional de Infraestructura (ANI) de Colombia planea licitar la construcción del tramo sur de la Avenida Longitudinal de Occidente (ALO) a fines de octubre de 2016, a través del modelo de Asociación Público-Privada, ha publicado El Tiempo el 18 de abril de 2016, citando al presidente de la ANI, Luis Fernando Andrade. En concreto, la licitación comprende la construcción de un tramo de doble calzada de 19,5 km, desde el sector Canoas (Soacha) hasta la calle 13 de Bogotá. El proyecto tiene un monto total estimado de USD 340m. Andrade ha señalado que espera que este nuevo tramo de la ALO permita descongestionar el ingreso y egreso por el suroeste de Bogotá. |
