AGC Chemicals, a subsidiary of Japan-based Asahi Glass, will start to operate in Brazil. The company is already present in the Brazilian glass market through AGC Vidros do Brasil, and will now offer its chemical products, mainly high performance Fluorine Chemicals for the car, aeronautical and consumer goods industries. According to Daniel Hamaoui, who will lead Latin American businesses, the objective is to reach USD 10m in annual sales.

A AGC Chemicals, que é subsidiária da japonesa Asahi Glass, vai iniciar suas operações comerciais no Brasil. A empresa que já atua no segmento de vidros no Brasil com AGC Vidros do Brasil, agora também vai oferecer uma linha de especialidades químicas, em especial fluorquímicos de alto desempenho, que têm aplicação na indústria automobilística, aeronáutica e de bens de produção. De acordo com Daniel Hamaoui, que comandará os negócios em toda a América Latina, o objetivo é alcançar USD 10m de vendas anuais. |
