Specifically, AES Gener is advised by Goldman Sachs Group (NYSE:GS) in the search process of partners and investors for the operation of the Angamos plant, as a result of the alleged lack of an agreement with Japan-based Mitsubishi Corporation (TSE:8058) to acquire 49% of the unit located in Antofagasta (see related intel). AES Gener (BCS:GENER), distribuidora de electricidad con sede en Chile, habría contactado a nuevos y potenciales socios e inversores para la operación de la central de Angamos, según ha informado Diario Financiero el 16 de agosto de 2016, citando a fuentes cercanas a la compañía. En concreto, AES Gener se encuentra asesorada por Goldman Sachs Group (NYSE:GS) para el proceso de búsqueda de socios e inversores para la operación de la central de Angamos, a raiz de la supuesta falta de acuerdo con Mitsubishi Corporation (TSE:8058) para adquirir el 49% de la propiedad de la unidad ubicada en Antofagasta (ver Intel relacioando).
