A americana Eastman Chemical Company, que nasceu a partir de uma cisão da Eastman Kodak em 1994, investiu cerca de USD 3 bi em importantes aquisições nos últimos anos, que a consolidaram como uma das maiores fornecedoras globais de especialidades químicas. Em 2014, a companhia de USD 9,4bi em vendas segue atenta a oportunidades de compra, inclusive no Brasil, mas vai se concentrar em operações pontuais e de menor calibre caso se decida pela expansão inorgânica. A empresa acredita em um bom equilíbrio entre crescimento orgânico e aquisições. Recentemente, a empresa anunciou duas operações em linha com essa estratégia. |
