A Rede D´Or poderia estar em negociações com a Unimed-Rio Participações e Investimentos, braço de negócios do grupo Unimed-Rio, para adquirir o seu Hospital Unimed-Rio e também o Terreno do Hospital. O valor total do investimento está estimado em BRL 500m. A possível aquisição do Hospital Unimed-Rio, é consequência da situação atual da Rede D´Or que inaugurou o ano passado, o Hospital Barra D´Or, que tem que ser desativado devido a que se encontra em uma área de concessão da Aeronáutica com um contrato que vence no próximo ano e sem possível renovação. Com a aquisição a Rede D´Or quer fazer face ao seu concorrente o grupo Amil que inaugurou o Hospital das Américas na mesma área onde se encontra o Hospital Unimed-Rio, na Barra da Tijuca |
